Life Christian Academy Opens Its Doors for the 2026–2027 School Year

Life School Education Foundation is proud to announce the opening of Life Christian Academy (LCA), its inaugural PreK-4 program for the 2026–2027 school year, with campuses located in Cedar Hill and Lancaster. Designed for families who refuse to choose between exceptional academics and deeply rooted Christian values, LCA offers a Christ-centered learning environment where every child is known, challenged, and prepared for a lifetime of purpose.

Enrollment is now open for children who will be 4 years old by the start of the 2026–2027 school year. Seats are limited.

A School Built on What Matters Most

Life Christian Academy was founded on a simple but powerful conviction: the earliest years of a child's life are not just formative — they are foundational. What a child learns, believes, and experiences between the ages of 3 and 5 shapes the trajectory of everything that follows. LCA exists to make those years count.

At LCA, faith is the lens through which every lesson is taught, every relationship is built, and every child is seen. Parents who choose LCA are choosing a school that partners with them to raise the whole child: mind, heart, and character.

"We believe education is an act of stewardship," said Dr. Brent Wilson, Superintendent. "Every child who walks through our doors has been entrusted to us by God and by their family. We take that seriously — academically, spiritually, and personally."

Academic Excellence Through the Abeka Curriculum

Life Christian Academy uses the Abeka curriculum, one of the most trusted and widely adopted Christian school programs in the nation. In continuous use since 1972, Abeka integrates biblical truth into every academic subject.

In the LCA Pre-K program, students receive a comprehensive early education across six core areas:

  • Language Arts: Including a systematic, phonics-based approach to reading that has produced strong, confident readers for over 40 years. Students begin reading real words early and progress through character-building stories aligned to the phonics concepts they've already learned.
  • Numbers & Early Math: Building numerical literacy, patterns, and foundational mathematical thinking.
  • Science & Health: Exploring God's design in the natural world, nurturing curiosity and wonder.
  • Social Studies: Beginning to understand community, relationships, and the world around them.
  • Fine Arts: Cultivating creativity through music, art, poetry, and hands-on expression.
  • Bible: Daily lessons, Scripture memory, hymns, and Bible doctrinal teaching that lay a biblical worldview from day one.

The Abeka approach is research-based and proven across diverse learning styles and abilities. Rather than treating the classroom as a testing ground, Abeka draws on decades of accumulated knowledge from Christian educators — giving teachers the tools and confidence to lead, and giving students an engaging, love-of-learning experience from the very start.

Cross-subject integration brings learning to life in a way that feels natural to young learners. When a student hears about a figure in history, reads about them in language arts, and creates an art project connected to the same lesson, the result is deeper understanding, greater confidence, and a love of discovery.

Whole-Child Development from Day One

LCA's approach to early childhood education goes beyond academic readiness. The school is committed to the development of the whole child — physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Through the Abeka program and LCA's Christ-centered environment, students develop:

A positive self-image grounded in their identity as children of GodListening, language, and communication skillsHand-eye coordination and fine motor developmentPhonemic awareness and early literacyA growing biblical worldview and foundational characterThe social skills to thrive in a community setting

The goal is not simply kindergarten readiness. The goal is to lay the kind of foundation that shapes who a child becomes, long after Pre-K is finished.

A Partnership With Parents

Life Christian Academy believes that parents are a child's first and most important teachers. The school does not seek to replace that role. It seeks to honor and reinforce it. Every aspect of the LCA experience is designed to extend the values families are already building at home, creating consistency and alignment between what children hear on Sunday and what they experience Monday through Friday.

Families choosing LCA are not simply enrolling a student. They are joining a community of like-minded families, dedicated educators, and a shared mission — a place where faith is celebrated, not hidden.

Two Campus Locations

Life Christian Academy will open with PreK-4 classrooms at two campuses for the 2026–2027 school year:
